OooooOOOOOOOoooOOOOooh!
Happy Halloween, folks.
I’m actually quite proud of this Caramel Cat painting lol
“Becky is a typical thirteen year old girl. She likes Facebook, gossiping and plenty of sleep. So when she and her brother Joe are invited to stay with their ‘loony’ Uncle Percy at his stately home, the mysterious Bowen Hall, she thinks it’ll be the worst summer ever. What she doesn’t realise is that Bowen Hall is also home to a baby Triceratops, two Sabre-tooth tigers and the mythic hero, Will Scarlet… ”

After reading 'The Time Hunters’, the urge to draw some of the scenes that Carl Ashmore beautifully painted in words never stopped itching at the back of my mind. With the help of artist Marco Robinson-Metcalfe, this trailer hopes to illustrate some of the rich and varied worlds found within the first book of the five book saga.
RICHERlandTV PRESENTS
‘Home Alone Cat!’
I was gonna leave this in the back of the fridge for a little while but with some encouragement it’s out “early” - Home Alone Cat, my end-of-academia-forever student film.
I wanted to try and package some of that classic-brand cartooniness and run with that. I hope to turn it in to a series, with more of a variety/sketch-show style to it.
Three Weeks in October #1: Power of Nine
Nine dimensional concepts expressed through animation.
In order of appearance:
- Under
- On
- Behind
- Next To
- In front of
- Through
- Above
- Between
- Inside
And if you can spot the two intentional references to popular franchises, then you get a fictional cookie and a pat on the back.
So yeah, three weeks - one project per week. This is my first week-long project, the ‘Power of Nine’ brief.
I think the one that came out best is actually the one with the least frames. Haha. Ironically, it’s also the one that goes against everything I stand for as an animator.
